With a flattened back to create a larger surface area for the stone's brilliance, the checkerboard cut on the front of this sapphire is the perfect cut to display both its rich mix of color and its captivating inclusions. We have created this ring in rose gold and in yellow gold. The center stone has a small diamond on one side to add a little sparkle to the delicate gold band the sapphire is set upon.
